Inflight Essentials

The key to a successful trip is getting well organised and it all starts with being well prepared with your inflight essentials. Packing only what you really need and the rest should be in your baggage. So get your checklist out and make sure you have all of the following...

The Must Haves
Passport
Phone/Charger
Wallet/Cards/Cash
Watch
Laptop
Camera

On Board Beauty Bag
A must when travelling is to keep as hydrated as possible. Keeping those skincare sample sizes come in handy as they are nice and compact and your skin will thank you for it.

– lip balm
– concealer
– toothbrush/toothpaste
– deodorant
– makeup wipes
– cleanser
– moisturiser/ CC Cream
– hand cream
– perfume

Entertainment
I've learnt over the years that filling my hand luggage with multiple books and magazines usually go unread as I always opt for opportunity to binge watch a good tv series on a long flight. Invest in a quality pair of noise cancelling headphones -  they cancel out 95% of that awful ambient noise we all hate on a plane!

– headphones
–iPhone with plenty of music
– notebook
– compact novel (if you're going to actually read!)

Shut Eye
Plan your sleeping hours so you can adjust to destination time zone. Block out as much as you can around you with headphones and a good sleep mask.

– Eye mask
–Change of clothes (if travelling multiple flights)

Organisation
Keeping your carry on in order is essential for a stress free flight. Keep boarding passes, passport and documents securely placed in a place you will always remember. Keep you bag in “sections” by placing items in small bags or zip pouches. If you have a small carry on like my Samsonite Lite-Cube 55cm Spinner, separate the essential items between the suitcase that can be placed in the overhead cabin or in a small handbag that you can place under your seat.

Happy Travelling!
