PAJAMA PARTY

I'm so obsessed and excited to see that this bedroom-inspired dressing is not going away any time soon. Before you cringe or think that you can't pull this look off do not be fooled it's much less scary than you would think. With all variations of this trend from fur sliders, slip dresses and even robes - but my favourite at this moment is the matching pajama set. The possibilities are endless. I have put together 3 of my go to looks that will turn your jammies into an everyday option.

  1. Full Matching Pajama Set
If you are going to choose a matching pajama set, go silk. I have chosen this Witchery navy set, with a silk shirt and matching wool pants. The slight contrast in fabrics gives the look a little more of a tailored night time feel. For this look you need height to allow the pants hem to fall just at the ankle so paired with some mules is perfect. (whatever you do avoid wearing this enite look with a pair of 'slipper' looking shoes - you don't want to look like you have just rolled out of bed!)

Accessorise with jewellery, sunnies and a go to handbag for that effortless look. Every time I have worn this outfit I have people commenting that I look so comfy - that's because I am! The oversized nature of this look absolutely fools people that you made the better option because its so easy and carefree.

2. Pajama Pants and Leather
If you just wear the pants, team it with a basic tee and leather jacket. The contrast of silky and tough takes the "bedtime" out of this look completely. The accented piping make the pants perfect to wear with any of your wardrobe basics and even a pair with some Stan Smiths for a little masculine edge.

3. Pajama Shirt and Denim
If you just opt for just the shirt, style it as you would a silk shirt: roll up the sleeves, or tuck in one side of the shirt - make it personal, it's the best way to make yourself (fall in love and) more familiar with this trend. Wear with boyfriend or relaxed denim and pair with sneakers (or even a stiletto to make the look more nighttime appropriate).

  1. Obsessed with how you’ve taken pjs’ out of the bedroom and onto the streets! I mean who doesn’t want to wear their pj’s all the time right? Love the way you’ve styled it, especially with the jeans!
