With so much make up on the market at the moment I'm here to break down a hero piece we all want, an eyeshadow palette that meets all your needs (day and night), the warm eyeshadow palettes we are all lusting over. There are so many warm tone shadows available that it's difficult to choose, and I have tried all the below. Let me 'try' to help you out and get specific as to the positive and negative aspects of the palettes 'you think you need'.
Urban Decay Heat Palette
I think most makeup lovers own a Naked palette, but with all the warm shades becoming more prevalent the Naked Heat palette will tick all the boxes. This amber-hued 12 shade range is a great start to go from a neutral eye to really warming up your eyes with both burnt orange and rose gold/copper finishes.
Nars Wanted Palette
This palette has been on everyone's wish list since last year, we have all waited in much anticipation, now it's sold out and everyone will unfortunately have to wait again. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this palette, it does not disappoint. Very different shades to the typical 'warm palette' with its 12 high-impact rich colour payoff shades, that include buttery mattes, satins and glittery metallic finishes. With beautiful neutrals and peachy/rose gold hues it will work for all skin tones. The all-new pure pigment formula is so wearable, but what really surprised me was the versatility of the glittery shades (always best applied with your finger) with a real buttery feel, it's so fine it glistens rather than a eye blinding sparkle that some glitter formulas tend to have. The final appearance is almost 'wet looking'. I'm excited to keep playing with this new beauty! Be quick this palette is limited edition so make sure you secure yourself this epic palette, no wonder they called it "Wanted".
Huda Beauty Obsessions Warm Palette
If you're like me and avoided the hype (and speculation) of Huda Beauty's larger palettes, this compact 9 shade eyeshadows may convert you (as it has me!) You will be plesantly suprised by the highly pigmented shades, in both mattes and shimmers, that are perfect to create a daytime neutral/peachy look or play with the deeper burnt orange/browns to intensify your eyes. Also available in Mauve, Smokey and Electic this is a perfect compact for you, complete with mirror and the ultimate travel companion.
Tarte Tartelette Toasted Palette
Always a fan of this compact 12 shade palette (having also bought the Tartelette In Blooms) laid out in 3 rows to make three very easy looks and the bonus of a huge mirror that is perfect for travel. The Toasted palette is exactly as it states, rich 'toasted' oranges and burnt reds that are easily mixed and matched, blendable and perfect to create that smokey warm eye.
Too Faced Peach Palette
I think the cutest packaging and definately best smell award goes to the Too Faced Peach Palette. With 18 shades from pinks, coral, bronze and purples it gives a variety of matte and shimmer finishes to create endless looks. However, to someone who is afraid of experimenting this palette has some purples and olive greens that could be over looked (or never touched).
Zoeva Caramel Melange Palette
I think Zoeva palettes get overlooked, maybe because their brushes steal the show, but I have several Zoeva palettes that have never disappointed. I have hit pan on multiple shades (mainly the first 4) as they are so easily worn on an every day basis without being too over the top. The selection of 10 neutrals with golden, pink and orange undertones are so pigmented I often find myself blending several shades to create my own mix. The right side of the palette consisting of more metallic shades are always there if you ever need to 'glam up' your look for night.
Smashbox Photo Finish Eyeshadow Trios
For those who feel as though they cannot commit to a large eyeshadow palette, we all have a palette we may have regretted buying as they don't make full use of all the shades. The Smashbox Photo Finish Trios are the perfect option with edited color-coordinatied shades that include a step-by-step guide for an easy application. Sometimes we get hooked on that one makeup look, and really 3 shades is all you need! There are so many options with these travel-friendly compacts, so you can opt for neutrals, warm tones or more vibrant combinations without committing to a full 12 shade palette. Crisis over! Some of my fave warm hues from this range include, Nude Pic: Deep, Tag Me and Holy Crop.
