Empties – Were they worth it?

Over the last few months I have stored all the beauty and skincare products I have run out of and thought I would put together a little review - Were they worth it? The ones I loved and would repurchase again and again ... and others I may not.

Clinique Moisture Surge 72 Hour
Auto-Replenishing Hydrator
Safe to say that I have been a Moisture Surge fan from the beginning, but this new version has me hooked. Great to use day and night, use before makeup for non-stop hydration for a healthy glow.

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30
My go-to for those foundation free days, this is a lightweight formula that really just evens out my skin and adds slight colour. For a no makeup-makeup look it looks natural and I love the fact that it has SPF and is still super hydrating.

Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray
Clearly a fan of the moisture surge range, I have gone through multiple bottles of this face spray. Perfect hydrator and to wake up your skin in the morning or throughout the day. Great on a hot day as well.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild
Sticking with the Clinique family, I have used many skincare regimes and always go back to this facial soap. Its one of those products that is so reliable and have used for over a decade and that I will continue to repurchase.

Philosophy Cinnamon Buns Shower Gel
I have been through several bottles of this shower gel purely for the smell! Its amazing! Its one of those scents that is good enough to eat!

Tarte - Maracuja Oil
Always a fan of oils and will give anything a try. This maracuja oil is infused with vitamin C and provides instant hydration (which is does). Loved it but probably not rushing back for a refill.

Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil
A staple in any girls make up kit. I'm lucky that I don't need to do a lot to my brows other than fill a few sparse areas, the pencil is great to draw on fine hair like lines to create a natural look.

Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara
I think this mascara has a good enough reputation to speak for itself and why I love it. If you want long, voluminous and super black lashes you will be hooked as much as I am.

Too Faced - Sweethearts Baked Luminous Glow Bronzer
An overall universal bronzer that is perfect for any skin tone. This one lasted me quite some time before I hit the bottom so if you want your moneys worth this is the one for you. However, unless you like a slight overall glow I wouldn't rush to place this all over your face, however I'm pro glow so I am all for it!

Zoella Shower Sauce Body Wash
If you haven't heard of this power house, want to be your best UK friend, YouTuber Zoella then you don't know about her beauty range. A super affordable, shower sauce that smells incredible and literally has the gel like appearance of sauce! What's not to love!? I really need to try all the other bath and shower products in this range.

Shu Uemura Utime8 Subline Beauty
Cleansing Oil
and
Nutri Nectar Cleansing Oil
Clearly a fan of Shu Uemura and their super luxurious cleansing oils. Amazing at taking any make up off, it almost melts off the skin. A couple of pumps and emulsified into the skin leaves you feeling super soft and hydrated, rather than a cleanser that tends to make your skin sometime feel tight before moisturising. The Nutri Nectar oil is also great for more dry skin types. I like to change up my skincare routine I always opt for a cleansing oil.

KMS Hair Stay - Anit Humidity Setting Spray
Only recently got this spray and already addicted. For those in a humid climate, this spray is perfect for maintaining those fly aways. Seals the hair for up to 72 hours and its weightless finish you would barely know you have anything in it.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Currently on to my third bottle of this oil, so you could say I am obsessed. I think I have not only made this an essential into my night time routine for its hydrating attributes, but the lavender and primrose that is formulated for its night time effects definitely works on me.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye Cream
A long with the concentrated I had to try the eye cream, case closed, product empty! However I fell in love with the next product below...

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
I was recommended this product years ago and literally can't live without it. When I hit my mid twenties I was determined to think I was starting to get wrinkles only to be told that I was just dry! This very thick and rich cream is perfect for sensitive under eye areas. I saw improvements straight after using it and really notice it when I don't.

La Mer Illuminating Eye Gel
A little luxury item that I used sparingly, a little goes a long way, but has lasted me a long time. It's one of those skincare items that you probably don't need because there are so many other affordable products on the market. Having said that it was beautiful to use, being a huge fan of eye creams, this gel is really light weight, hydrating and promotes a youthful luminosity (I'll try anything once!)

YSL Touche Eclat
A handbag essential for anytime I'm feeling a little dull and flat to brighten and highlight under my eyes and eliminates any shadows in my expression lines. It's super lightweight on the skin and gives you that "well rested" appearance, even when your not!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
I think everybody has already or still looking for the ultimate mascara. This Perversion mascara by Urban Decay does exactly what it says, with its triple black pigments giving you intense volume and length - exactly what I ask for in a mascara purchase. The wand applicator is nice and big to pull through your lashes and even with a second or third coat leaves them clump free.

Shu Uemura Colour Lustre Shampoo & Conditioner
I have been though my fair share of shampoos and conditioners (and its great to change it up from time to time). I have already purchased this from my hairdresser 3 times, I love it so much. A little pricier than most hair care products, but I definitely see and feel the difference with my colour treated hair and its texture. Also it smells amazing and gives you that same feeling like you have just come from the salon.

Let me know in the comments below what products you love and continue to repurchase!
