With so much amazing grey pieces around at the moment it's difficult not to get some grey layers happening now that winter is on its way. And who would have thought that pairing a grey knit with a grey jacket could work, but it does. I would definitely recommend giving this a go with any hue of grey whether it be charcoal or a light grey - mix and match. With all the black I wear on a day to day basis, a grey coat is the perfect way to break up an outfit and add another element. Adding the double grey (because it works just as well as double denim) also is a great way to change up an all black outfit whilst keeping it simple and undone. I admit sometimes, I hate to say it, that I feel as though I'm wearing a little too much black - grey is the next best option. I’m looking forward to also styling this military look coat with a-line skirts and long knit dresses for a lighter winter look.
Finding this heavy grey knit jumper from Witchery with its criss-cross detail creates interest to what could be considered a simple and monochrome outfit.
