Westfield Doncaster launched their VIP Summer Series last week and I had the pleasure of designing the invitation for the 4 day event.
When brainstorming I really wanted to create something that encapsulated a ‘summer vibe’ through the use of hues of blues and greens and also something of a more relaxed feel which brought in the use of my handwritten typography. The VIP Summer Series created by Westfield brought in customers that allowed them to be immersed in fashion, food and social media workshops and events. The highly anticipated The Daily Edited pop up had everyone wanting custom monogrammed leather goods as well as admiring the beautiful display designed by Style & Co. The four day event also included social media, summer styling, tea and perfume workshops.
Exciting to see my design work on invitations and signage, complimented by the beautiful styling of the retail space and spectacular balloon statement piece that lined the staircase as guests made either way from the champagne bar to the runway. Hosted by Nadia Fairfax and Alyce Cowell VIP Summer Trend Runway Show guests were treated to a celebration of fashion trends for the upcoming summer season. From wearing navy to sunset hues, romantic florals and a take on new mod, Nadia’s tips to amp up any summer outfit are earrings in all shapes and sizes and an investment in a pair of statement sunglasses.
